Recently, gaming has been dominated by the release of new consoles the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

However, there’s a new line of machines that could take the focus away from the new consoles.

‘Steam’ can be downloaded to PC, Mac, and Linux computers, as well as PlayStation 3 and iOS/Android smartphones.

However, the gaming system is now launching a range of dedicated ‘Steam Machines’.

At CES 2014 earlier this month, 13 new Steam Machines were revealed. They’re made by a range of third-party manufacturers, and all run SteamOS.
