Yo! Did Nicki Minaj really say that?

In the daffy rapper’s new collab song “Mercy” for Lil Wayne’s mixtape Dedication 4, Minaj name-drops her vote for the US Prez in the upcoming November election.

Her endorsement sent Romney’s camp, as well as other rappers, rockers, bloggers, media-hoggers, politicians, and Minaj’s own Barbz fanbase, into a swooning tither all day, trying to freakin’ figure out if Nicki’s really down with Mitt.

Or just stuntin’ and frontin’ and causing a controversy.

Minaj’s publicists have not responded to the political minefield. Nor has Nicki sent any response out via Twitter to clear things up. Previously she’d tweeted that President Obama’s health care reform plan was “frustrating”:

“Just give FREE health care to all. @barackobama What can we do?”

The most confused person in it all is probably the GOP Prez candidate Mitt Romney himself.

Dude’s probably trying to figure out who this green-haired hip-hopper Nicki Minaj bit** is in the first frickin’ place.
