Little Mix have a lot to owe to Mr. Cowell.

If it wasn’t for him creating and orchestrating the success of X Factor UK, LM might never have existed.

But off the back of a successful album and two number one singles, Little Mix are ready to tackle the difficult transition by releasing their second album. But it appears that Simon has dropped out of the picture!

Of course the mogul is an expecting father, a judge on X Factor USA and is trying to launch the careers of Emblem3 and Fifth Harmony. Oh, and he is hugely involved in the trajectory of the One Direction phenomenon too!

But Simon wasn’t a part of the show when Little Mix were on X Factor, so we wouldn’t expect him to be that involved with them. A little bit of help would be nice though!

Perrie recently said on a Google hangout: “We don’t really work with him to be honest.”

She continued: “We see him on TV every now and then.”

Simon will be focussing his attention on his American X Factor acts as he tries to prove the millions of dollars spent on the show so far, were worth it.

The series is tanking against weak competition in America, with far more people taken by The Voice.

Little Mix are killing it on their own accord and have had more success than Fifth Harmony on the charts. Simon has to invest himself fully into the American market, to get his ‘mojo’ back and return to the top.

Of course, Little Mix will be releasing a new single “Move” – which is a huge risk for the pop scene at the moment. The new album will be entitled “Salute” and will be released at the end of the year. Expect a performance from Little Mix on X Factor UK and perhaps even the US version too.
