The judging and hosting cast of the X Factor USA is truly a revolving door, because news has arisen this morning that Khloe Kardashian Odom has been fired.

Khloe Kardashian on X Factor

She will be following in the footsteps of…take a breath…Steve Jones, Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, Cheryl Cole, Britney Spears and LA Reid who have all left the show in its short two season run.

Listen in OnePopzers, because I think we all know that putting a Kardashian on a volatile LIVE high budget show was krazy.

If Season 2 of the X Factor could be described in one word, it would be “desperate”. Khloe had no hosting experience and it was blatantly obvious it was a ploy to try and get Kardashian fans to turn on.

Instead her performance was fair at best, not train wreck TV, but nothing compared to Ryan Seacrest. It was a bit awkward to watch and when you find yourself yearning for Steve Jones to come back, you know there is a problem.

Mike Darnell, basically the big dude at the Fox Network said:

“I think the hosts were okay,”

He continued:

“I think Mario knows how to be a host. I think Khloe was new. And I thought for someone new she did okay. She never hosted before.”

Marki Costello, a hosting expert commented on Khloe’s effort:

“It was really hard for me to watch Mario with her. It made me, as a viewer, almost uncomfortable.”

I think Khloe lacked, ironically, the X Factor. While she is easily the most compelling family member on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, she looked out of her depth on X Factor as a small fish in a massive pond.

Adrienne Bailon, who was part of the Pepsi pre-show on X Factor showed she has natural ability with contestants and a fantastic rapport with the viewing audience. She would be my first choice as new co-host.
