Can guys and girls be just friends?
Josh Hutcherson, co-star of “The Hunger Games” movies, thinks so — and one of his best pals is co-star and on-screen romance partner Jennifer Lawrence!
Josh confessed to Glamour Magazine that it’s often pretty “weird” to press-pause on being friends with JLaw long enough to film a love scene.
“There are times when we’ve had to cut [while filming],” Josh said, “because we can’t get through a take without laughing!”
“Jennifer and I were nervous about our new co-stars,” he added, “because we’re kind of crazy when we’re together. So it can be a little scary for the new people…
“But everybody [in the new cast] jumped right in. It was a fun vibe on set,” he said.
But seriously, Josh: come clean, bro, do you think guys and girls can really, truly, seriously JUST BE FRIENDS??
“Absolutely,” the “Catching Fire” star said. “But there’s often a natural inclination to want more,” he then added.
Josh should know.
He’s dating the co-star of his upcoming suspense-thriller “Paradise Lost,” Claudia Traisac, whom he first met during the shoot.
“As far as I’m concerned,” Josh explained, “[we’re] both actors, [we] understand each other’s lifestyle. So it’s a very natural thing to have happen.”
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” comes out next month.
