It looks like there could be a big shake up to the X Factor judging panel this year.
There’s already been many rumours and filming doesn’t start yet for another four or five months!
Firstly, a source close to the X Factor production team suggested that Tulisa might not be coming back, saying: “You can’t have a singer whose album only reached number 35 in the charts sitting in judgement on other singers.
“Tulisa has been on the panel for two years. She had a good run, but all good things come to an end.”
It’s also likely that Nicole Scherzinger will remain on the panel, as will Louis Walsh. The same source said: “He will fight tooth and nail to keep him on the show.
“It hasn’t reached the shouting stage yet, but if it does, Simon is prepared for the fight.”
Meanwhile, X Factor bosses are keen to introduce Gary Barlow’s Take That bandmate Robbie Williams to the panel.
Another ‘source’ said: “Robbie is exactly the right person for the show – but we don’t want to lose Gary to get him. We want them both.”
However, they went on to say: “Robbie’s people are saying he is too busy to do the show.”
Another rumour is that former judge Sharon Osbourne could make a return after leaving the show in 2007.
A ‘source’ (The X Factor team should maybe look into these sources…) said that Sharon, who recently left her judging role on America’s Got Talent, is said to be wanted by the production team.
They also said: “The first three series relied solely on genuine British talent and a chemistry between the judges that simply hasn’t been there since Sharon left”
So, if all the rumours are true, this years UK X Factor panel will consist of Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne…
…Which is one too many – so one of the rumours has to be wrong.
